Thomas Park is pleased to present Regarding Thomas: Dyslexia, a group exhibition featuring works by Jonathan Callan, Greg Colson, Dana Frankfort, Allan Graham, Kyoung Hoon Han, Jin Kyoung Lee, Stefana McClure, Paul Pagk, and Ji Hyun Song and John Yau.

Regarding Thomas: A Brief Survey of the Beginning was a group exhibition conceived and held in January–February 2024 to mark the gallery’s tenth anniversary. Bringing together artists who have exhibited with Thomas Park since its founding in January 2014, the exhibition also included selected works from the gallery's collection, tracing the initial ideas, conceptual and aesthetic background, and evolving sensibilities that have shaped the gallery’s program over the past decade.

On view from February 25 through April 4, 2026, the current iteration, subtitled Dyslexia, turns its attention to works that reflect Thomas Park’s longstanding interest in text, signs, and forms that operate as a kind of lexicon. In these works, language becomes not so much a vehicle for communication as a subject that produces questions about it. Words themselves become abstract images that open up formal possibilities, or gestures that provisionally erase their own form and meaning. Legibility is delayed, interrupted or even obstructed. What is seen is not necessarily readable, and what is read and understood does not necessarily correspond to what it actually means. Language functions as a medium that conveys more than what it seems.

The works in this exhibition feel as poignant as ever in our current environment, where the information and messages we receive are repeatedly manipulated to the point that we can no longer read or understand what they are. This harrowing condition may articulate itself—may even become more legible—under the vexation of art than in its natural state.
