JiWon Park’s work, existing at the intersection of ceramics and sculpture, nature and the body, function and abstraction, transcends dualistic concepts intuitively. She shapes forms that appear to be molded by natural forces, exploring the organic responsiveness of clay as a material.

Jiwon Park earned her bachelor’s degree in bioengineering from Sogang University before pursuing a master’s degree in ceramic arts at Ewha Womans University. She later completed an additional master’s degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University’s Ceramic & Maker program in the UK. She has held multiple solo exhibitions at venues such as the Youngeun Museum of Contemporary Art and Yongin Cultural Foundation and has participated in numerous group exhibitions both in Korea and internationally. Her works are part of the collections of the Arumjigi Foundation and the Youngeun Museum of Contemporary Art.
